Marina maintenance “a never ending situation”.

The harsh environment we live in requires an on-going maintenance schedule. Here we see a new pen pylon being installed as our aging timber ones slowly rot away.

A local pile driving contractor is busy removing a broken timber pylon and replacing it with a new steel pylon. Timber pylons were used extensively back in the 70’s

& 80’s when Aquarama was built, but as you can appreciate big timber pylons are not that accessible these days. When finished this steel pylon will have a plastic sleeve placed over the top of it to reduce corrosion and protect boats as they are driven in and out of the pen.
